Reflection from (Mulan) 《花木蘭》電影主題曲 -大提琴竹笛二重奏 『cover by YoYo Cello』

花木蘭是一部於1998年上映的迪士尼卡通電影，其中的內容改編自古代湖人的詩歌『木蘭辭』故事大意在述說一位代父從軍的女性英雄故事，當中不但包含了軍中友情的建立也細膩的演繹出女主角花木蘭與李翔愛情的萌芽。2020年再度以美國古裝戰爭電影做背景翻拍，重現了許多當年經典的歌曲。 這次很開心邀請到剛從蘇州民族管絃樂團梆笛演奏員現為國立台南藝術大學國樂系碩士演奏家郭虹希一同與我合作當中的經典歌曲Reflaction，希望藉由中國樂器的合作能夠更更凸顯此電影將西洋與中國結合的素材，也希望帶領觀眾回到迪士尼情境中那些令人印象深刻的場景。 Mulan is an American animated musical historical action adventure film released in year 1998. It is based on one of the Chinese legend, Hua Mulan who impersonates a man to take her father's place during a general conscription to counter a Hun invasion during the Han Dynasty. In the year 2020, the movie is remake with an American costume war as the background of the movie, also it uses few of the classic songs from the animated film. I'm here happy to invite one of the BangDi player (梆笛) from the Suzhou National Orchestra and now who is a master performer from Department of National Music, National Tainan University of Arts, Guo Hong Xi (郭虹希) to have a duet collaboration with me to make a cover of this song. Hope that I can use this duet cover to highlight the collaboration of Chinese and Western for this movie.
