Tomorrow will be our last day of the 2020 wheat harvest (unless we get rained out). Every year. I dread the final day on the wheat. Why? I don’t know why. And I don’t know why it leaves me feeling so down and out. Every. Single. Year. This one is no different. We finished the field we started yesterday. And cut through a 55 acre field on the way to the final one. It was a 160 acre day. There’s sprinkles on the roof of the “cottage on wheels” so we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
