The Most Colorful Neighborhood of Istanbul: BALAT & FENER Istanbul in general is a very touristic city but there are also other places to see in Istanbul which are frequented and touristy but mostly by the LOCALS and two of them are the neighborhoods of Balat and Fener in Fatih. While walking in these neighborhoods you will breathe the authentic and unique atmosphere full of diversity in every corner. If you like getting off from the most touristic routes then these places are the perfect ones to get lost at for a day since there are many things to see in Balat and Fener. As well, in the past few months these places have become instragram spots among the locals and the few tourists visiting this area.
