However, these are usually the lists of trains such as German's ICE, China's FUXING HAO, Spanish AVE, Japanese SHINKANSEN or MAGLEV achieving incredible speeds of over 350, 400, and in some cases even more than 600 km/h. Cool. We like that. Really. But today we want to offer you something different. The alternative that in our opinion matters much, much more. In this video, we showed some examples of countries with WORLD’S FASTEST HIGH-SPEED SERVICES. Not based on the highest possible speed achieved on some short section of line or even worse, the record on the test run, but rather the HIGHEST AVERAGE SPEED of regular, scheduled, high-speed service, from departing to arrival station. As primary source for this video we used World Speed Survey 2019 published by Railway Gazette International.
