Best vegan steak tartare you will eat. Ever. | Little Kitchen

Should we even call this dish Vegan steak tartare? . Vegare! Yes, that's how I'll name the "vegan steak tartare" dish! . Sounds kinda appropriate does't it? Vegan + tartare!? . And now to the recipe! . Finely chop up some fresh basil, shallots and sun dried tomatoes. I used homemade sun dried tomatoes that I "stored" in olive oil to preserve them for like... Forever! Add everything to a small bowl with some (of your favorite) balsamic vinegar. Stir. Let it rest. Halve two ripe tomatoes and remove the stem. I would suggest that you use the highest quality tomatoes you can find! . We used red and purple tomatoes to give the dish a little more color, different flavor and depth! . Fry the tomatoes in a frying pan with a little bit of oil till golden brown and put aside to cool. . That part is important! You want to loose quite a bit of water in the tomatoes so the tartare won't be too soggy! Also this part gives another layer of flavors to the dish! Next! Deglaze the pan with the excess vinegar from the basil, onions and dried tomatoes mix and get yourself an AMAZING sauce! . Chop up the fried and cooled-down tomatoes and add them to the basil, onions and dried tomato mix. Add salt to taste and rest for a few minutes for the flavors to combine. . Serve with avocado, radish, the epic tomato sauce and some warm bread . Follow us on Instagram for more content! https://www.instagram.com/mala_kuhna/
