A vibrant display of color, music, and classic Chinese dance, bursting onto the stage in the south of France this week. Shen Yun Performing Arts arrived in the French city of Aix-En-Provence on March 6th, taking the stage at the Grand Theatre de Provence. Some theatergoers, like Patricia Duval, a manager, explained they made hours-long trips from other regions to see the performance, after they couldn’t get tickets elsewhere. She said she “took four days off work to come here to Aix-en-Provence because I hadn't been able to get tickets to see the show in Paris.” She added that she “had a wonderful time, it's full of color, music, twists and turns. Outstanding acrobats and dancers.” Antoine Fanti, a state employee, said that he “was really interested, so we took the boat over to see the show. Really a sublime show, the dancers are well-trained, it's really extraordinary, an extraordinary show. We were in awe from start to finish.”
