In this episode of America’s Hope, Kelly talks to two people who have overcome overwhelmingly difficult obstacles. Carrie Sheffield, grew up in squalor with an abusive father and was able to escape her circumstances and was not only able to achieve success but learned to forgive her abuser. Dr. Ming Wang escaped to the United States from the cruelty of the Communist regime in China with barely any money and has become the leading expert in eye surgery and now there is a film about his life. We'll learn how he has forgiven those who persecuted him.
