Days 64-69 2021 Wheat Harvest / August 15-20 (on the road again)

Days 64 - 69 had us leaving home (after arriving with the first load) and headed back to Colorado. Once we arrived, we did what we needed to do to get back on the road with load #2. Thank you to Curt and his family for allowing us to call their farm “home base” for such a long time. Longer than typical, for sure! We spent the night in Cambridge, NE. We stopped earlier than usual but it was a good place to land the “train” for the night. We made it home mid-afternoon on August 18. Jamie and Curt surprised us by telling us they cleaned the rotten meat out of the freezer. I think we owe them BIG time! What an awful job!
