One of the most anticipated summer blockbusters of the year, is the movie "Oppenheimer" that was directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.” Oppenheimer was a brilliant theoretical physicist. He was the leader of the Manhattan Project, during World War II, and he is often referred to as, the "Father of the Atomic Bomb." What we are going to talk about today is, an incredible incident, that took place in, the top theoretical physics community, in the United States, during Oppenheimer's time. The incident originally had little to do with Oppenheimer, but he became one of the victims in the end.
