Warning as UK Energy Bills to Hit 4,200 Pounds in January

A consultancy company says energy bills for households could soar to 4,200 pounds ($5,000) in January, a massive jump of 650 pounds on its estimates from last week. It says this is due to a new formula used by the energy regulator Ofgem. But Ofgem says no forecast for next year is robust enough at this stage.
