Mexican Center Aims to Protect the Golden Eagle

A Mexican center dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of the country's national bird, the Golden Eagle, showcases its successes in caring for the endangered species. The Royal Eagle Control and Protection National Center currently cares for 44 birds of prey, of which 10 are golden eagles, which have been rescued from different parts of the country. The center works to rehabilitate injured and sick birds, to then reproduce and reintroduce them into the wild. Watch the video, which shows the birds inside the center and then being set free into the wild. The Royal Eagle Control and Protection National Center works together with Mexico's environment and defense ministries.
