Ratings of NBC Today's Show up 10 Percent after Megyn Kelly's Ouster

Chen Tim
The ratings for NBC’s “Today” show are up after the ouster of Megyn Kelly, who hosted the show. The network officially canceled Kelly’s program on Oct. 26 following several days of reruns. Since Kelly’s exit, ratings for the third hour of “Today” have gone up by around 4 percent. And, the 9 a.m. hour has drawn in around 10 percent more viewers in the key 25-54 demographic. The third hour is now hosted by a rotating cast of “Today” anchors, including Savannah Guthrie. “We are starting a new chapter in the third hour of our show,” Hota Kotb said on Oct. 29. There don’t appear to be plans to permanently replace Kelly.
