Government clampdown on pizza sizes and toppings

Pizzas must shrink or lose their toppings under UK government plans to cap calories. Other foods will also be subject to the new proposed calorie limits. Hot dogs, hamburgers, kebabs, pies, and ready meals are all included. The plan challenges the food industry to achieve a 20% cut in calories by 2024. It’s part of the UK government’s fight against obesity. The plan is expected to launch in spring of next year.
