British Backpackers Wake Up to Find Van Partially Submerged by Floodwaters

British backpackers awoke on February 6 to find their campervan, which was painted like the Mystery Machine from cartoon Scooby-Doo, partially submerged by floodwaters in Gordonvale, just south of Cairns, Queensland. The van was parked at a picnic area that was dry the previous day but was hit by heavy rainfall in the evening, according to ABC.
