Adventure Photographer Laura Lyn caught footage of an adorable moose family causing a “traffic jam” in the Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska. Speaking to ViralVids about the family, Laura explained: “These moose calfs were a little less than a week old following mom. In the springtime, the moose drop their calves and only about 10% of these calves make it to be an adult in Denali National Park”. Laura is currently completing her project 100 days in Denali National Park in celebration of the parks centennial anniversary. Credit: lauralynphotography via ViralVids

Utah native Josh Holt was reunited with his family in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, May 26, after spending two years detained in Venezuela for allegedly spying and stockpiling weapons.

Josh Holt, a Mormon missionary, his Venezuelan wife Thamara Caleño and her daughter were seen embracing Holt’s parents in a video released by the office of Senator Orrin Hatch.

The 84-year-old Republican Senator for Utah was among those who advocated for Holt’s release. In an accompanying statement on his Facebook page, he said the reunion came “after two years of hard work.”

Holt returned to the United States with his wife, who he married in Venezuela in June 2016, and her daughter from a previous relationship, ABC News reported. The couple were imprisoned in Caracas on charges of terrorism and espionage, which they consistently denied. Earlier in May, Holt made a desperate Facebook plea for help after a riot at the prison where they were held.

Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a disease with a high fatality rate. It most commonly affects people and nonhuman primates such as monkeys, gorillas and chimpanzees. The fever is caused by an infection with one of five known Ebola virus species. Four of the strains can cause severe illness in humans and animals. The current outbreak in Congo is due to the Zaire ebolavirus, which has the highest mortality rate. Ebola is named after the Ebola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. The virus was first recognized in 1976, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
