NYC Food Vendor uses Fake Identities to avoid $117K in fines-NEW

Henry Yan
The NYC Health Dept. issued 155 health citations over 10 years to a food vendor named Abdelhakim Hassan Ganash, the New York Post reported. Instead of paying them, Ganash got a new business license 3 times. Vendors in the city must pay off citations before they can renew their license which they are required to do every 2 years. He was caught once in 2012 by the Health Department. As a result, he was forbidden from getting any more licenses. But in 2016, he again got a license. This time he gave his middle initial instead of his full middle name and changed his phone number and address. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM He now owes $117,300 in fines. He was issued another license that year. The Health Department has vowed to crack down on wrongly-issued permits. ================================================ NTD TV Henry Yan New York News
