Rhode Island town council votes to boycott Nike

A city government in Rhode Island will boycott buying Nike apparel. It comes after ex-SF 49er Colin Kaepernick appeared in ads, promoting the activewear maker. North Smithfield Town Council passed a resolution asking departments not to buy from Nike. Kaepernick is accused of disrespecting police. But American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island warns this violates the First Amendment.
