Bronx Attack, Robbery

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 48 Precinct. Details are as follows: It was reported to police that on Saturday May 26, 2018, at approximately 5:30 a.m. in front of 2423 Cambreleng Avenue, the two individuals approached the 49-year-old male victim from behind and one of them placed him in a choke hold. After the victim was dragged to the ground, one of the individuals punched and kicked him in the head as the other removed his cell phone from his pants’ pocket. The two individuals fled on foot southbound on Cambreleng Avenue. The victim was treated at an area hospital for bruising and swelling to his face and head. The first individual is a: Male, black, 18 to 25 years old Lat seen wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants The second individual is a: Male, Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, with his hair in a ponytail Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, light colored pants and black sneakers
