Fraser Anning's first speech

Kuting Feng
Katter's Australian Party Senator Fraser Anning joined the federal upper house in November 2017. In a wide-ranging maiden speech in the senate on Aug. 14 2018, the Queensland senator called for fairer rural lending practices, improving water security in regional areas, more affordable home ownership, and a national plebiscite on immigration. He also criticised the role of cultural Marxism in the "subversion of Australian culture and values," which uses tools such as "political correctness" to stamp out free speech. Above is a video of Senator Anning's maiden speech.
