State Police Driver Training

2018-04-26 07:44
Connecticut State Police recruits of the 126th Training Troop took part in driver training at the Consumer Reports Test Track in Colchester for three days this week. During the daylight hours the 32 recruits learned and practiced backing, evasive movements, sudden braking, and negotiating curves, or apex training. After dark the recruits practiced pursuit driving on the open track. TFC Matt Allen, EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operation Course) instructor, takes us around the training track to see what recruits experience.
