WWII bomb removed to Adriatic Sea before detonation

NTD
NTD
The Italian Military placed an unexploded WWII bomb at the bottom of the Adriatic Sea.
The bomb is over 39 inches long and contains more than 496 pounds of explosive TNT.    Over 23,000 people were evacuated from the town of Fano after workers discovered the bomb.    Public schools and public offices have been closed.   Bomb disposal experts carefully removed the buried bomb with a crane.   It was then taken out to sea on March 14.   It will be left at the bottom of the sea for at least 6 days before the military will make it explode.
