Fifth-Grade Students Show Incredible Respect in Protecting American Flag

These three fifth-graders from Idaho showed their respect for the flag in a very obvious way. Naylan Tuttle, Jack LeBreck and Casey Dolan attend Hayden Meadows Elementary School. They were tasked with lowering and folding the nation’s flag, after school on Sept. 19. They had been taught not to let any part of the flag touch the ground—but the flag was too big. So Jack laid under the flag while the other two folded it carefully. A parent saw the gesture of respect and her snapshot went viral.
