‘Don’t Move Anywhere’: Deputies Writes 30 Tickets at School Bus Stop one Morning

Florida police ticketed drivers who failed to stop for a school bus in Port Richey on November 14 after one woman took to Facebook to complain about the issue. Monica Douglas recorded footage of cars driving past a school bus that stopped to let students off on November 1. Florida law requires motorists to stop when a school bus stops and displays its signs and lights, the Miami Herald reported. Douglas sent the footage to police and local news outlets. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office released this footage of officers pulling over drivers who failed to stop for the bus. They said the action was taken following reports of infractions. In a Facebook post, Douglas thanked police for their response to her complaints.
