People Run Towards Collapsed FIU Pedestrian Bridge in Miami

Several people have been killed after a collapse of the pedestrian bridge on the Florida International University Modesto Maidique Campus in West Miami-Dade on Thursday, March 15. This video shows people running towards the bridge as police cars arrive at the scene. "Several people were killed. I just don't know how many," Alejandro Camacho, a spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol said in a telephone interview. There were at least five to six vehicles crushed underneath the pedestrian crosswalk, he added.
