Photo of Stranded Crew Sleeping on Airport Floor is Staged, Says Airline

Ryanair claims the photograph of a flight crew sleeping on an airport overnight is “staged” 4 Ryanair flight crews were stranded overnight by a storm in Malaga airport in Spain on Oct 13. Local hotels were all fully-booked, due to the storm and the Spanish national holiday, said Ryanair. A union claimed that they had no access to food or drink for 5 hours, without enough seats. A photograph showed the crew apparently ‘sleeping’ on the floor of a crew room. Ryanair says the 4 crews flew home the following day, but did not operate the flights.
